Yellow journalism

Yellow journalism is blowing a story out of proportion. A great recent example is how the Orlando Sentinel wrote several front page stories of how some hair dresser's that were working without a license got arrested. It was not that big of a deal and the time is short but they acted like it is controversial. Yellow journalism is stretching the truth and making a story seem like bigger news than it actually is. It affects us because many people perceive it to be fact and as big of a deal as the newspapers make it look like it is.
